Worth of Used Authentic Mazdaspeed kit ?

So I recently bought a 2004 RX8 that used to belong to a guy here on the forum if I'm doing my research right. It is black with an authentic Mazdaspeed kit as well as many other Mazdaspeed goodies.

My question, though, is that I'm really not into the look of the mazdaspeed kit and am looking to make back some of the money that I payed for the car. I have a guy interested in trading me all his stock pieces + cash for my Mazdaspeed Kit minus the Spoiler (Front, Sides, and Rear). Both of our cars are Brilliant Black so this seems like a good trade.

Also, my MS Front bumper is in mediocre condition and needs some lovin' to get it looking good again. So how much should I ask for on top of the stock pieces as far as cash is concerned? What is the MS Kit worth?

I'm not trying to rip the guy off or anything, just trying to be fair.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah.. that's why I was asking for others opinions on what they would ask in my position. Thanks for the reply!

Used flawless I'd say 6-900 for front bumper, maybe 4-500 for rear and 4-500 sides, 6-800 for the wing. Especially since they are discontinued i can see the prices rising a little.

Used oem is worth very little maybe 2-400 depending if he got them from the factory or a Mazda distributor. If he got them from eBay then it's worth less than 200 because the paint tends to chip ex. Azpartsexpress.

His bumpers are OEM from the dealer (the ones that came on the RX8 when it was new) in good condition from what I can tell.

My peices are also in good condition but the front bumper has seen better days as the previous owner obviously didnt know what a curb was or how to drive a lower vehicle. Id say its a 5 footer (looks good from 5 feet away) haha.

His Pieces + 500 cash for my Mazdaspeed Front, Rear, and Sides sound like a fair deal? Or am I lowballing myself? LOL

Thanks for the help!

I'd say you're lowballing yourself.

Id say his pieces plus like 1,250 or so maybe a little more.

Hard to tell without pictures, but i would say rx8instl is a lot closer to the right price then $500

I think the ms kit makes the rx8 look so much better, but to each his own

FYI, If you remove the side skirts you will have some holes in the rocker panels.

I wouldn't take less then $1000 plus help changing everything.

If I remove the MS Skirts, I will have holes left in my car? I don't like that idea..... The OEM skirt piece doesn't cover the holes?

I intalled my MS Skirts over 2 years ago so I forget exactly where the holes are and how many, so I dont know if the OEM piees will cover them all or not but I am guessing Not.

There are the prices for those components when they were new:

QSEA-50-020-PZ Front Bumper Face $1,530.00
QSEA-70-900A-PZ Side Skirts $875.00
QSEA-50-360-PZ Rear Under Spoiler $875.00
QSEA-51-96Z-PZ Rear Wing Spoiler $1,040.00

These are no longer available. You can still get the front bumper unpainted from MazdaSpeed Motorsports Development. Their site is down today, so I can't find out if the other parts are still available unpainted.

Removing the side skirts will reveal 2 holes in the rocker panels that the OE pieces will not cover.

All of the holes will not be covered.
