winter problems for 8
Never plugged it in once, started every time, Even in -40 no prob. But I'd put some weight in the back and winter tires. I drove mine on the summer tires all winter and it's just a hasle. It's worth the peace of mind.
If you have a good battery you should be ok. Just warm it up properly and don't turn it off till it is warm up. If you do have to drive it in the snow , get winter tires other wise you might wrap it around a tree.
I'm not sure about putting weight in the back. On my all-season tires in several inches of snow, i never had a problem with getting the car going. Only problem I noticed was in a turn the front end would plow some. If I were to put more weight in the rear end I would think that would make that problem worse, as I would think there would be less weight on the front wheels to assist with traction.
Seriously V- what's your problem??????????????????????
Whatever, it looks like you're a Vikings fan too. Speaking of "I'm with stupid"
This will be my first winter with the 8. It's the only means of transportation for me so I can't keep it parked when it snows. I ditched the awful Bridgestones and just skinned it with Pirelli Pzero Nero M + S tires. So far they're great but the real test will be in two months.

Don't drive my 8 much in the winter... doesn't seem to like the cold start, it is fine when I leave the garage though.
At least I know my tire pressure sensor is working when I get it out in the cold the first time
