I go to a school that doesn't allow me to have a car yet... and doesn't give me much vacation time, either.

What kind of school doesn't "allow" you to have a car? Do you mean no parking allowed, or literally your syllabus forbids you from driving?

wow. but i guess freshmen are kinda stupid. especially with the availability of alcohol on campus. which, in combination with a car is not too good.

I'm not a freshman, and there isn't any underage drinking on my campus.

Here's a pop quiz. What school is in one of two of my listed locations, doesn't seem the type to give a lot of time off, and might possibly inspire me to use a flying patch as my avatar?

5 days is not "storage" or "hibernation". It's just parked. Take no special actions at all.

I don't drive mine in winter and usually only on weekends for the other 3 seasons. And I just warm mine up every seven to ten days and roll up and down the driveway a few times.

Your car sat undriven on the dealers lot for longer than 5 day stretches.

No big deal. Just keep a photo in your wallet, phone, or iPod to tide you over.

Waaah, 5 days? Give me a break, it's not like you got a 2 week rental on a Zonda and can't drive it for 5 days. I park my Elise in the garage during the whole work week and drive it on the weekends if the weather is nice. If you have a battery tender I'd just put that on if it's extremely cold in your area.
