Are wheels alignment specs for rx7 and rx8 the same?

I took my Rx8 to tire shop to do alignment (some time ago). Now looking at the sheet they gave me - it states model as RX-7 instead of rx8.

Does any one knows if wheels alignment specs for rx7 and rx8 are the same?

As long as they tune the alignment to stock factory settings or what you want, the label doesn't matter.

When you take the car to a shop, the guy at the front desk usually puts the info into his computer for the shops records.

When the car is taken into the garage, the mechanic normally looks up the alignment info on his own alignment machine which has all the specs in it for each vehicle.

So, the answer to this question depends on whether the mechanic used "rx-7" to look up the specs in his machine when he did the alignment (and thus aligned the car to those specs), or whether he knew it was actually an rx-8 (and aligned it as such) and the guy at the front desk just screwed up when inputting the info to his records computer, which doesnt really much matter. The latter is more likely.

IF the mechanic aligned it as an rx7 then the specs are almost certainly different. I would probably clarify this between the front desk guy and the mechanic that did the work.

IT means the shop is too cheap to pay for updates for the newer model year cars within the last 2 years or so...and that shop is probably to be avoided.
