What would you do with $3,500?

So, i'll be getting a hefty, hefty amount back for my taxes this year. :naughty:

I don't have a clue what to do with all of it. At first I was thinking about getting rims/tires and then BHR ignition and an AP, but the combination of other possibilities are endless.

All I have now is a RR single exhaust and an AP midpipe.

The BHR and AP are most likely going to be purchased.

Edit:
I realized after adding this, that i'll probably be asked what the goals/focuses are..
Reliability is huge, cosmetic is up there too...but there isn't too much i'd ever change from stock, then performance.

It's just a DD. There aren't tracks around here, as much as i'd love to get into that.

let me be your fund manager.:naughty:

dozer 02-02-2012 01:35 AM

afe short shifter should be number 1, coilovers or new springs and struts shouldve been number 2.

AwptiK 02-02-2012 01:53 AM

Haha juikster, only if I can charge you interest.

And thanks dozer, the AFE will probably be one of the things I purchase as well. Probably at least a set of springs too.

1-Mantenence it may need
2-Coilovers
3-Wheels and tires
4-Good quality alignment

i know im lame but mine is going to paying off my car or student loans. pay them off sooner equals more money down the line :D

1.3_LittersOfFurry 02-02-2012 08:27 AM

I'm splitting mine, half for the note, the rest for suspension. :)

bazooki 02-02-2012 08:33 AM

$3500? I would put it towards an RCC Stage 1 turbo kit for my Hayabusa. Would bring me up to 250+ rwhp.:yesnod:

You're not lame, just smart.
It's money you have basically already spent once on taxes...
Paying off loans or putting them in the bank is the wisest thing to do. Spending them only means playing their game to articially keep up an economy that's designed so poorly that will keep falling no matter what.

200.mph 02-02-2012 08:43 AM

im taking about $900 of my return and paying my car off this month, the rest is going in my savings acct. you should send me your $3500 so i can turbo my car and then ill send you pics

Supernaut6 02-02-2012 09:04 AM

Hmmmm one $3500 hooker or 3500 $1 hookers. I don't know.

Hesselrode 02-02-2012 09:04 AM

I am using mine to get new tires, so I can finally put on my wheels. lol. 265/30 r 19 aren't cheap. I want 275 but the price is that much more. Maybe next time.

PaPaBear 02-02-2012 09:39 AM

Put it on Beetle Bomb in the 5th Race!

R80MAV 02-02-2012 01:35 PM

coilovers + wheels would be the first step for me, provided all the ignition system and what not are in tip top condition

9krpmrx8 02-02-2012 01:36 PM

Must be nice to get a tax return :(

First address all maintenance items and then get rims/tires and suspension.

I didn't get as much as you, but I spent it on a brake upgrade and some new fancy bulbs from V-LEDS.

millysecond 02-02-2012 03:44 PM

Put it in a Roth IRA. Do you realize how many hookers you'll be able to buy with it when you retire?!

The Roth IRA has income limits!

York 02-02-2012 04:00 PM

Contribution limits yes, so if you put $3500 into it in the beginning of the year, you won't have to put much more into it for the rest of the year to reach the limit!

Digger1911 02-02-2012 04:27 PM

^^+1

Self Directed IRA , and taxliens

Roidz 02-02-2012 04:46 PM

Coilovers, wheels and tires. That's what I'm thinking about doing with mine.

No there is also an income limit as well. If you pass that income, you aren't eligible.

With my money, I'm going to pick up some ohlins or a new motor!!
