What size bolts for exhaust ??
Getting my Midpipe installed soon and im going swap the old rusted bolts with new ones.
Anyone know the exact size of the bolts used for our exhaust ? |
Nope, but I know they are 75 bucks at a dealer. The front three you can replace at a hardware store but the spring bolts need to be ordered through a dealer.

i think they are 10x1.5 in the front, not sure about the rear.
the studs in the front are N3H1-20-WA1 and the nuts are JE10-40-355 in the rear the bolts are B31R-40-584 and the nuts are 9994-01-003 |
The rears are approx 3" long, M10 1.25. The dealer only wants $15.00 each. Not a bargain, but not that bad either.

Go to Advance or Autozone or Pep Boys, in the Exhaust section. There are packs of exhaust bolts, studs, and nuts. They are typically advertised for American makes, but they are almost all metric in size. M10 studs are easy to find, though you may have to buy additional pack to get enough nuts.
Cost you less than $15 for everything. I would swap mine out ~annually just to make sure stuff doesn't get rusted in place. A pack like this: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...m=exhaust+stud 5 studs and 8 nuts is what I would typically use (3 studs and 6 nuts up front, 2 studs and 2 bolts in back) |
