What rpm do you run on highway?

I usually go 5th gear for around or above 120km/h, often 4th too, rpm usually 4,5k, you think is healthy? Constant Cruising speed of course.

Cruising at 55 mph or higher I'm in 6th. RPM depends on how much higher.

Mine hits 80mph in 6th gear at 4k as well, although it's not exactly in the center of the 4k marker but more like in the upper half of it yet not passing it.

Are your tires the exact same diameter as stock?

That's the stock tire size. Sounds like you were in 5th rather than 6th.

Rpm vs gear vs speed is pretty tidy on the manual transmission 8. At 3000 rpm, the speed in gears 2,3,4,5,6 is 20,30,40,50,60 mph.

Tire size is not going to matter if you use the speedo on the car.

Engine is connected to trans, trans is connected to rear end, speed comes off the ABS sensors on the rear end. It should match no matter what the ken^^ post.

At track, I have 225/45 17s, it matches. On street I have 225/50/18s.

the rpm to mph stays the same. 6K at 60 sounds like 4th gear, not 6th.

3500rpm in 5th sounds healthy (less engine heat) and better gas mileage?

Unless you are like me, in which case 90 mph = 3,000 RPM = ~24 mpg's.
