You don't have to spend anything.

If you think about it, money spent on things like body kits don't really benefit you. You're in the car, and can't see them. You're just dropping a bundle on stuff that other people will enjoy.

So far my mod expenditures have been $15 for a LightInSight and 50 cents for a wedge of foam to make the seat fit my lower back. Paper clip for the fuel cap hook was a gift. EZ Pass sock is kind of half "me" and half exterior appearance, but material (half of a sock with a hole in the toe) was free.

I'm about to spend $260 for a short shifter - definitely a "me" thing. Considering dropping a grand or so for snow tires and wheels, but I think that might be more of an "insurance company" thing than a "me" thing.

If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm an engineer.
