My first 8 was Leela because the car reminded me of Leela from Futurama and my second 8 is Layla... well because it's similar to Leela but not quite.

I call mine "Radix" because I like the book by A. A. Attanasio.

Radix also starts with an R and has some meaning in mathematics. I'm fascinated by the geometric/mathematical aspects of the Wankel engine.

For some reason, for me, it felt like a male so I named him Kango. 2 reasons for that, its licence plate (Cyprus plates anw, KNG) and its sound

For those wondering, google kango hammer and go to images and you'll know what sound I mean!

Not very original here, I know... :P

My 7's name is "Nana", and my Sonata is "Jun-chan".

Kind of an inside joke though, because all of my car names also come from an anime called "Nana" that my wife and I like.
