Well I Finally Got one.
To put this in perspective folks. I built one of these:
http://www.gasolinealleyantiques.com...T/amt-t575.JPG in about 1972. Always had an interest in them. Finally, now I got this:http://images.autotrader.com/images/..._A.240x180.jpg in the driveway. It's a 2007 GT with 13K on it. Came with 2 sets of Mats, 2 quarts of oil in the trunk (with rags) and the dreaded spare tire (I don't need much trunk space.) Next: Winter tires. Maybe on the OEM rims and put the Dunlops on Aftermarket rims on the Spring. Winters knocking at the door on Long Island....... |
Welcome and thanks for the pic! Sounds like your well informed already. :)
Dump that spare tire - its just taking up space and adding extra weight. Keep posting... |
Welcome to the addiction!

One of the reasons I got one myself. Fascinating engine (even if they haven't completely solved the riddle of the rotor apex seal materials technology). Enjoy!!

^ I found my OEM Dunlop 8090's to be very good. I replaced them at 22k miles mostly because I wanted to try Toyo T1R's, which I will say are superior, but again the Dunlop's were pretty good and better than the OEM Bridgestone's that came on many other trims.
|
Yeah, from what I read on here. Dunlop 8090s were much better stock tires than the Bridgestone RE040s.
|
Nothing wrong with the Dunlops
