Warranty question...

Tried doing a bit of searching but couldn't really find anything.

Question is pretty straightforward, for those of you who modify your 8, when you come across an issue, do you revert it back to stock and then take it to dealer to cash in on the warranty?

I'm fairly certain that's pretty easy to do with cosmetic parts, but what about engine upgrades such as a turbo, intake, etc?

Thanks

Sorry, I don't know much about performance upgrades, hence why I'm asking

Depends on the part, certain parts void the warranty. The only part I worry about is my midpipe. Everything else I leave on and havent had my warranty threatened yet.

yeah it really depends on the parts if you have a turbo well you're officially done with going to the dealer for warranty unless u do want to spend 2 days to take it off but i don't think anyone does that.....

depends on the mod and depends on the dealer.....also depends on the warantee situation....dealers like getting off warantee work so they try to blame any mod regardless of the situation
