VIN # help

VIN # help

hey guys...i have to get a vin # tracing to transfer my plate because im currently in SC and it will be registered in PA......i have no clue where a traceable vin # is....i know theres one on the dash buts its under glass....anyone know where another one is easily accessable?

There is a large one on the firewall. Just behind the plastic engine cover.

Look at the plate, and write down the vin number on a piece of paper. All they want is the number. If you remove the VIN plate from your vehicle you are probably violating state law. (VIN plates HAVE to remain on the vehicle.)

Your local police department can do a vehicle inspection and annotate the VIN# That's how I registered mine in FL while I am still in GA
