A view from the Back (Seat)
 

Three of us went shopping Saturday, so I asked the wife if she wanted to drive, which I didn't have to ask twice. I sat behind her, as she is 5'2", which would give me more room (I'm 6' 0")than behind our 6'2" 17 year old.

After spending an hour in the back seat, I was ready to get out. You are a little boxed in, and have to move from side-to-side to see ahead. Since your feet slide under the front seat, you have little room to adjust or stretch. View from the sides are OK, and it gave me the ability to actually see how many people just galk at the RX-8. Young & old alike.

Having bucket seats in the back are comfortable and way cool. If you have children who are challanged to get along when going down the road, that little console seperation seems to be helping us in that department.

The front windows were down the whole time, which created no buffeting, and air movement in the back was good, without messing up your hair. Opening up the rear door hatch did little to change air movement.

Getting in and out of the back using the Freestyle doors was a breeze, once you get your feet out from under the front seat, and the driver's seat or back did not have to be moved up any.

With that said, the view from the Driver's seat is much, much better :cool:
