they're out there but they are not readily available nor are they plug & play...

kma5783 06-27-2011 05:55 PM

Turblown has said they are working on one and are actually looking to get some form of a performance gain, there's a thread on here somewhere but they haven't released any real information regarding where they stand in development and production.

Yes that's exactly what i'm looking for .... didn't figure on them being plug and play and i can't find one so def not readily available .... where'd you get yours ??????

Silver6 06-27-2011 11:50 PM

I don't believe either of those are pics of jedi's car. But if I was you I would look up the thread mentioned about turblown. Because the only other one I've heard of is an aluminum one from some random guy in a random country. Don't remember the country off of the top of my head

monchie 06-28-2011 12:22 AM

+1 about turblown.

kma5783 06-28-2011 01:42 AM

The other pics posted are of the one made by someone in Singapore, from what I've seen the casting looks pretty rough and seem to be much heavier than necessary based on the thickness of the material in certain places. At one point I believe BHR was considering distributing these manifolds but chose not too. They look good but I would personally clean it up before I put it on my car, but without seeing proof of some type of performance gain ie: HP Increase or Better Torque Curve the negatives of heat soak and most likely a weight increase I wouldn't consider buying one. The pics above are of ngorx8's and gregs cars you can probably ask one of them about it if you're interested in that one.

There have been a couple

1. aforementioned "guy in singapore"
2. Black halo racing
3. Turblown's
4. and i know there was another guy, i want to say in Greece

8upbad 06-28-2011 11:55 AM

Make a few of them and see if any of them make a difference.... We love fab here.

Silver6 06-28-2011 01:21 PM

Or you could find a fabricater that you like and trust. I know one where im from that would be able to do it. Laythor did bhr actually put out one? I thought they decided against it

laythor 06-28-2011 01:22 PM

you never know with those gremlins over at BHR

kma5783 06-28-2011 01:28 PM

As far as I know BHR was just considering distributing the one from the guy in Singapore and chose against it. Now whether or not BHR is working on one of their own I have no idea.

BHR (Black Halo Racing) are a group of guys that occassionally get together and race black painted warthogs in the popular video game series called Halo.

bcdjudo7 06-28-2011 09:59 PM
