Okie i just got my car on friday and im not sure what type or options this thing has on it for extra so ill just raddel some off and just let me know if they came standard with the car or they are add ons.

Sounds like a GT. How much and how many miles?

 

well your in Canada so there are/were only 2 trim choices - GS with Cloth and GT with Leather. So you have a 2004 GT in Titanium Gray exterior w/ Black and Chaparral interior

 

wonder if anyone could shed light on my trim level:

Factory rear wing
Cloth seats non power blk/dk grey

no nav
power sunroof/moonroof

Bose on the tweeters and looks like a silver amp hanging between the rear speakers w/ single cd player

sounds like a touring to me. my 07 touring is the same but has nav, and thats an option on all trim levels.

yes I have tire presssure monitoring and ASC as well, but NO 6 disc changer but the Bose system. Touring, thanks for the info

 

how can you find out what rx8 do you have

 

usa and canada very different.

look for you head light washers and you will understand..

From the pic, your 8 is the base trim.

 

All Mazdas have generally the same trim levels:

Sport
Touring
Grand Touring

Grand Touring is the highest and has the most options, on the RX-8 you get fog lamps with the GT, optional Nav, leather, dimming rear-view mirror, and some other goodies. You probably have a Touring or a Sport.

 

whats the base line come with, because mine came with all the extras but the bose,sunroof nav,

I dont see any which would lead me to believe he has a sport, but he has a moon roof. I didnt think Sport came with a moon roof

 

base = no dsc is the telling feature, not sure if foglights are an option on this or not
Sport model = has dsc but no moonroof, definately can have foglights (I have one)
touring = moonroof and optional bose
gt = leather seats

 

i also have the factory fog lights , auto dimming rearview mirror and the homelink garage door opener, and dsc a well.

 

yep - touring. if you had leather and heated seats it would be GT. cloth with a moonroof is the key to knowing if it's touring.

 

how can you tell if you have dsc

 

Quickest way to find out is to try and power slide a corner. If your power cuts out and your slide stops you have DSC. Or you could always look for the switch to the left of the column next to the interior light adjustment switch.
