And the Turning Radius is....
5.3m (~17.388 feet) Lock to Lock.
So a 34.8' turning circle - not too bad.
Not too great either. My MR2 has a turning circle of 31.5ft. I doubt the RX-8 will be able to make a u-turn on a residential street like my Toyota can. Hmph.
Any curb-curb turning radius less than 35ft is good. Most cars have radius larger than this. While it won't tango on residential street like the MR2, I think it's more than adequate for most driving situation.
don't forget though, Bryan, that your MR2 has a wheelbase of like 8*", and the RX-8 has a 105 or 106" wheel base, right??? i'd say that's not too bad...
I suppose. :) Guess I'm just spoiled by my Toyotas. I don't have a number for my Corolla GT-S, but it feels like it turns even tighter than the MR2.
I do a lot more u-turns on residential streets than most people I guess. :) |
Turning radius Is interest but how many tours of steering wheel lock to lock ? (2,5)
