1. Did you attempt a search? Yes or No If you said Yes please continue, if no then SEARCH!!!! 2. Did you appropriately search with various keywords and read all posts? Yes or No If you answered Yes post a thread on RX8CLUB to avoid being flamed. Well is the gasket from the midpipe to TurboXS catback leaking? I don't understand your issues |
the connection between the oem midpipe and the turbo xs caback, the part with the compression springs, and that was my other concern, i never saw if there were compression springs when i had the shop isntall it, but ive seen springs on the pictures on the forums.. is this an issue.. its an '04
yes ive searched and still searching |
Turbo XS connection is 3 inches, Stock is 2.5 inches. I don't know if it is possible to get them to fit but I am pretty sure it isn't a bolt and go affair.

ya turboxs is probably the only one you really could NOT use with the stock cat
buy a exhaust gasket set from fluid motorsports that will stop the leak or jut install the stock back on and take it off after inspection...
Or trade the TurboXS for one of many that will fit the stock cat.
I say try and make it work enought to pass emissions especially if u are planning on taking the stock cat off after anyway!...
i put the stock back in, im selling now on the parts section... might get myself another system or maybe just a midpipe.. who knows
