Turbo Weight??

I just got my RX-8 but I am planning a major upgrade to it in about 38 months. Before I begin saving for it, I was wondering, does a turbocharger add enough weight to offset the RX-8s handling at all?? Not any specific turbo, just an average turbo. If you need an example use the gReddy one.

If a turbo will offset the handling than I will boost the power with intakes, exhaust, and some other little tricks of my own design that I wont reveal until I know it works on a Wankel. Or nitrous.

I own an '06 Shinka with no spoiler and weigh about 150lbs.

Also, how much will a stock-type spoiler effect handling??

Thanks,
-Falken

it wouldn't. the turbo is like 15 lbs, but piping is aluminum ...

if it bothers you, relocate the battery into the trunk.

Not a bit. No positive or negative effects whatsoever, it is purely aesthetic. Practically any spoiler that comes on any stock car (with those ghastly things on the Evo and STi as exceptions) is too small and mounted too close to the trunk surface to do anything.
