Truly impressed with all the creative people I've found here

As someone who used to "customize" my toys when I was much younger, but got away from it especially with cars which turned into just transportation over time, I must say after exploring more of this forum, it's amazing how much time and effort many of you invest in making your cars "yours."

From all the external touches to electronics and mechanics, it's amazing how creative and skilled many of you are. I only wish I had a garage or place where I could keep my 8 in order to attempt some of the more ambitious mods described and explained. Unfortunately, living in an apartment complex, if I tried something that couldn't be completed ina day, such as installing rear speakers, I'd risk having some of the other tenants thinking my half torn apart 8 was in the process of being vandalized and join in on the fun. And I don't envision myself sleeping in it overnight just to keep the criminals at bay.

Anyway, just wanted to pay my highest compliments to those of you who make this the best automotive forum I've seen on the net. The faceplate/fabrication mods are incredible, and the electroincs mods are amazing but way over my head.

Cheers

I can relate to you on the apartment complex thing. I also find it cumbersome to do some simple car stuff like changing the oil, installing clear side markers, zaino, etc.
