triangles on front and rear bumper
i have a 2005 8 and i was wondering if i can just pop off the aluminum triangles without damaging anything because i am working on murdering out my car

I'll take the aluminum accents.
They're usually held on by double sided tape. They should be pretty easy to pry off without damaging anything, but you'll need some stuff to get off the tape (like Goo-B-Gone).
check the front one for screws to hold it in the back. the accent has 2 holes on each side which can be fitted with very small screws to lock it in place in case the double-sided tape fails at some point. just use your fingers to feel around behind it.
ill buy the front one from you.
popped it right off with a flathead, im prob going to keep it may paint it or something, and there wasnt one in the front haha never noticed that
Why keep it when you can ship it to me?
do you want one sntp
vultures i tell ya. haha
wtf does murdering out mean? like parting it out?

a) spraypaint
b) dremmel c) crub it (my favorite) |
As cited the front "rotary accent" has a screw and tape, whereas the rear is just tape-affixed. My rear one popped off recently (fortunately in the garage), even tho' I used iso-alchohol prep and was careful not to touch the tape. I'll get some stronger 3M double stick tape now.
There are some good aluminum replicas a lot cheaper on eBay. I bought a front one and it looks identical.
