Tail Pipes
 

One of my friends was looking at my car today and he said "did you know that one of your tail pipes are longer than the other?" I thought wtf! I went and looked and sure enough it was. The drivers side tailpipe is several inches longer than the passengers side. Whats up with that? Washed this car a hundred times and never noticed. Have no clue on how I missed that. I will take a closer look tomorrow and see if I can tell whats going on. Anyone else notice this?

Mazda 6 guys have been having the same problem, and my friend tried to get his fixed by the dealer. They prettymuch told him toughluck...

someone had mentioned that to me as well.....and i do have one longer and one shorter. i believe though that my passenger side is longer.

Maybe that's Mazda's idea of a sport-tuned exhaust? :p

Mine's the same way - driver's side is a couple inches longer. I wonder why? Is is because the driver tends to emit extra exhaust on occasion? :D

I noticed that when i took one for a test drive yesterday. Not really worried about it though, i'll be replacing the exhaust soon after i buy it anyway.

what the hell, its messed up on my car also!!!!! did mazda manage to screw up the exhaust also?!?!? staggered tail pipes, wow that must be a industry first. its going to be the next ricer trend

For me my left one is alittle longer than my right one.

I'm with vividracing, I'm changing the exhaust as soon as I can see some hp #'s on the aftermarket ones

There will be a ton of exhausts coming out for this car right now Borla has one available and I know they are alot in the works......so many new toys!!!!! Going to be fun.
