Im looking at the pics threads now, so pics aren't too necessary. Just any honest opinions of White Vs. Blacks in Looks, effects on people, and Practical Usage (People are less likely to hit a White car at night than Black... I would think).

 

didn't your other thread just get shut down? this is all personal preference. thats it, nothing more, there no practicality. but black does give your better gas mileage and white makes your car really cool during the summer if you have leather. also, the white absorbs sunlight for energy, so does yellow, but yellow does it to the extreme

 

nah, I wasn't shut down, I deleted it because I came off as slightly more of an @$$hole than I really am... only slightly. Yeah I know, its the same car, but I'm not the most decisive person in the world. It took me almost a year to decide on this car, and I can't decide on a color... admittedly its foolish, but its a bad habit I'm trying to shake...

 

i personally love the white 8. it looks a lot cleaner than the black, black kinda hides the curves of the body. plus the white with the black accents look really really clean.

I've always liked black on cars, when its washed and waxed it looks sexy as hell. I wouldun't make your decision on weather black is harder to upkeep or white is easier to upkeep. You should be washing your car every weekend anyways

But if your just looking for personal opinions ill go with a black, white reminds me too much of those fleet trucks lol

I love my Black RX8 so it does pain me to suggest anything other than black. However, take into account that Brilliant Black scratches easily, swirl marks show up VERY easily in the sun and care to the paint takes a lot of time and effort to keep it looking good.

When it looks good though, I have people breaking their necks to look at the car. If you don't mind the extra work, get black. If you're just going to hose off the dirt and not care about the paint I'd get white.

To hell with white or black , how about Hot Pink RX8. Now , you'll get all the attention you deserve. I don't think anyone has one ( i dont think so ) You'll be notice all the time . Be special ............

White, White, White. Actually I was looking for a Black when I stumbled across my White. It was striking with sunlight dancing off the contours and the pearl sparkling like diamonds. Pics don't do White Water Pearl any justice. I had to have it. I don't think you can go wrong with either...

Can't go wrong with either color.
Black = sproty but a biotch to keep clean...not to mention swirl marks!
White = classy very easy to maintain and hides swirl marks.

I'd go with black b/c i don't mind washing my car once a week (daily driver) and it looks good when it's clean but better when it's waxed. White can't tell the difference when it's waxed but it's clean though. If you dread cleaning your car once a week...go with white.

Ever consider a red one? i love the VR 8

 

just like everyone else has said. black is a pain to keep clean. it shows scratches and swirl marks very easily. you have to stay on top of it. i'd personally go with the white.

 

Get velocity red.

You know you want to. White and black really don't make the lines of the car pop like they should.
