Sunlight Silver Curse Exposed!

I have this friend that works for Ford Motor Company that gave me the straight up on the so called Sunlight Silver Curse. After he found out that I had purchased a silver RX-8, He confided in me this national security secret so amazing and dangerous, that I had to pass it along to all of you in the interest of safety and the free flow of information.

The sunlight silver curse is no curse, but a top secret joint governmental experimental military program between the USA & Japan dealing with a new type of stealth technology. Apparently, a harmonic frequency can be set up in the rotor housing of the renesis engine (due only to the side exhaust port of course) via a special frequency put out by the Bose tweeters. This frequency causes the mica particles of sunlight silver paint on the RX-8 to vibrate and behave in extraordinary ways. Due to the unique shape of the RX-8 front fenders, hood and specially developed rotor shapes all over the car the mica vibration causes a momentary light phase shift enabling the RX-8 to become momentarily invisible!

I know it sound incredible and I didn’t believe it at first either but here me out. These cars were never intended to be released to the public by the governments of the United States nor Japan. Some how the wrong mica flakes were dropped into the paint mixture. These special sunlight silver RX-8s were intended to help fight the war on terror in areas like North Korea & the Tora Bora region of Afghanistan. What do you think happened to the Mazda plant when North Korea caught wind of even a rumor of such a capability? Well, I don’t want to start any conspiracy theories but you can see where I’m going.

So, how can you tell if you were unfortunate enough to receive one of these special top secret RX-8s? My friend says there is really no way to tell, but he thinks the 2006 models will not be affected. The process of invisibility was never perfected and is very unreliable, but there are a couple ways to make sure your vehicle doesn’t phase shift and cause a traffic hazard.

1. DON’T TURN OFF THE DSC!!!
Turning off the Dynamic Stability Control arms the mica harmonic system; plus, it’s just safer to drive with it on.

2. Avoid listening to certain types of music on your Bose System.
There is something about over produce pop music like Britney Spears & miscellaneous boy bands coming out of the Bose tweeter that sets up the rotor harmonic. It is also advised to stay away from some contemporary adult artist like John Mayer & some rock acts like KORN (Only when played too loud from the Bose System, It’s the distortion).

I hope this information can help some of you out there. My friend brought me this information out of great danger to himself and his family. Use this information wisely!

The simplist explaination of the "curse" is that A - the car has a neutral color, and blends in better than any other color, and B - there are more silvers sold than any other color. Although there are 8 colors to choose from, in averaging the colors of ones I've seen for sale or for resale over the past 6 months I get about 26% SS, 20% VR, 18% Titanium, 16% black, 6% winning Blue, 6% Yellow, 4% Green and 4% white.

Sorry but I gotta call BS on this one. There is no stealth/light phase/invisiblility in the Silvers...at least while driving 95 mph. It's either that or the Ft Worth cops can defeat this uber technology :(

Fortunatly no, still as beautiful as ever. I'm glad I know to keep the DSC on!

for the curse to be real all you need is someone to start it (me) and some leaches to further it (you) :D

DSC is for people that can't drive.
Some "music" needs to never be played again. Those listed are not among them.

I want some of what you're smoking too. But give me another 4 years so I can be out of the military.

i defy this myth.

i counter with a theory of my own with evidence (of sorts) to prove it!

i have owned my car for a little over a year. i still havent put any of the licence plates on (front nor back)... but get this.

1. I have never been pulled over once since owning the car. (i live in the Bay Area & the police are front plate Nazi's, without even addressing the back plate issue!)

2. My car has been hit 3 times WHILE parked. twice at work & once at teh movies.
& when i say hit, i've needed to replace the rear bumber & had to remove the front driver's fender to repair teh dent. Fortunately the rear bumber was hit twice in a 2 week period of time so i didnt have to replace it twice.

My conclusion. An immobile velocity red car is invisible to people driving around it. A moving velocity red car is invisible to law enforcement officials. (or just my velocity red 8 haha)

The stealth ability of my car is a double edged sword.

The biggest flaw I see in this information is with the Bose tweeters. They barely can play any usable frequencies now. I highly doubt they could play any other frequencies that would be of any benefit to harmonizing with anything.

far be it for me to question the Rotarygod, but aren't the tweeters actually only mid-range speakers?...in any case, they are the weakest part of the stereo.

Finally, an explanation for the Silver Curse. But how do you explain the curse on silver Corvettes? GM most also be involved.

NgoRX8 06-29-2005 12:17 AM

Lets think of it this way:
All of those people that have certain secret silvers that have been hit..
Go on the freeway and drive over 100 mph. Maybe no one will see them!
