Stupid question
Hi all
I know this is probably a stupid question, but is my 2005 RX8 engine fuel injected? I was reading the wiki on the Renesis engine and it said the engine was naturally aspirated? Perhaps they were referring to an earlier production of this engine. I was actually trying to find out why it is called the Renesis? Hope it is fuel injected. Cheers |
im mildly confused

Both naturally aspirated (which means no turbo or supercharger)
and fuel injected (which means no carb) Best of both worlds! S |
Clearly the answer here is 42
From Street Rotary by Mark Warner, PE Pg 14 "Shortly therafter the new engine was formally dubbed the RENESIS, an acronym for "rotary" engine (RE) genesis (NESIS)". |
Many cheers
My brain fart was the naturally aspirated part. Meaning older cars used to be naturally aspirated only (carby, jets etc), no fuel injection. I now understand that naturally aspirated today means no Turbo or supercharger....right. All good. And I also agree the answer is also 42.... lol |

Your brain fart isn't that bad. A S2000 owner once claimed his car is "Non-Aspirated"
Fortunately less than some other forums :lol2: |
