Speed Limiter, Japanese Domestic Version 6 MT
Hi All,
Newbie here, and had just collected my RX8 (Winning Blue). And all thanks to you guys in this forum that help me made a decision on my purchase of my RX8.
I m from Singapore, a tiny island in South East Asia.
I have a teenie little problem though, as my car is a Japanese Domestic Version (JDM) it comes with a electronic speed limiter that cuts off fuel supply at 180 km/hr.
Wonder wats the easiest and cost effective way of removing it?
Its a 6 speed MT.
In addition I was wondering if there are any spec different between continents i.e US and Japan other than right and left hand drive.

A number of Japanese companies traditionally make speed limiter removers - Greddy makes a simple one, and Apexi's Rev-Speed meter will remove speed limit cut as well.
It will take a little for those products to be available, but they'll definitely be coming. Speed limiter removal is typically very simple (just cut a wire and splice a little box into it).
