Does anyone know if Mazda will introduce the RX-8 mazdaspeed or A-Spec to the outter world (outside Japan)??

 

next year i believe. 2005 or 2006. should be a while since the MS mazda 6 has to be introduced. then it would be the 8.

 

don't you mean the MPS Mazda6 (TC) .
U mean there gonna release the A-spec or Mazdaspeed like in 2007 ?!

 

No one knows if and when a Mazdaspeed version of the RX8 will ever come to the US. People here can give you their guesses all they want, but the facts are that there is no indication at all that it will ever happen.

I love when people type something like "I'm gonna wait until 2006 to buy the Mazdaspeed RX8". Keep waiting, people....because they have no idea.

 

In US, they can put all parts together as a package as a MazdaSpeed Rx-8... at least you can make one yourself ....

it will never happen in Australia. First, they will have to import MazdaSpeed parts first

 

A-spec = Acura, so no to that one.

 

I sent an email to Mazda specifically asking what changes were planned for model year 2006. They replied that the 2005 changes were just finalized and they have no information regarding what changes, if any, are planned for model year 2006. They indicated that it would be at least one year from now before any announcement would be made.

I was going to wait until 2006 to purchase the 8 as several posts indicated good things may happen that year - but I would hate to wait another year without any reason.
