Yeah, I thought the same thing.

<kidding - couldn't help putting those two together when I read them back-to-back. I'm sure Gohan didn't mean any offense, but he made me laugh! :mdrmed: >

Sorry to hear that.
but i have the similar situation 2 weeks ago. My RX8 (SE) parked in my parking lot of my apartment. The other day, my bro told me that my car's window at the driver side was broken and the door was also damaged. I don't have any additional equip. such as navi system or DVD player in my car,so the guy(s) only took some coins (around $10) away. Although the insurrance covered the repair fee, I still need to pay $300. Bad luck~!!I promised that if I find those guys, I will do the same thing to them as what they did to my car.
p.s. there were another 4 cars' window broken at the same night

At my job I get to parked in the secured "doctor" parking. It's basically for employees even though the signs say "doctor parking only." The day I was there they had a guy in a security booth that checks your employee parking permits to see if you belong in their lot. I suppose people could probably manage to sneak into it and cause damage but they aren't huge parking lots that the attendant can't see what's going on from his booth.

My biggest concern is some of the cats around here getting on my car and setting the alarm off, which would make my neighber very unhappy about being woke up in the middle of the night (since I will be using his driveway). I figure it's bound to happen in the winter time when it is cold outside and I come home late (get off work at 11:30 p.m. and it is a 50 minute drive).

Does your school happen to be Pasadena City College??

I used to have a silent alarm in an earlier car that would beep the pager on my belt should someone enter the car. Fortunately for the bad guys, they never selected my vehicle.

If someone breaks into my car and I catch him, I'M running over both his hands with my car.

That would be justice. :-)
