gregs 12-09-2009 10:50 PM

you got spark plugs covered under factory warranty? did your car go in flooded?

chino0314 12-09-2009 10:52 PM

those things were shot to shit

Misfyre 12-09-2009 10:58 PM

Resized, Umm it was a dealer B2B, I bought the car 12 days ago. The last owner either ran some shitty octane or they flooded it before selling it to me.

Yes I have changed a few local members plugs and my own twice and they all looked like that. Plugs do not live long in our cars. It's bullshit that the coils and plugs are often not covered under the B2B warranty.

Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, the local dealer is a good one.

changing out the plugs is something you should be prepared to do at every 20k if not sooner

EMart11b 12-10-2009 10:29 AM

Strong user name to problem correlation.

rodjonathan 12-10-2009 10:32 AM

yup done a few myself and look pretty similar

maxxdamigz 12-10-2009 10:35 AM

Make sure they change the plug wires and check the coils. 2 of the plugs have discolored ends indicating a poor connection. That can stress the coils.
