Slow Start - should I be worried?

Hi guys!

I don't know if this is a problem or not, but sometimes first thing in the morning, my 8's engine doesn't start instantly. I will try to decribe the best I can. I mean, from key start to engine actually starts running, sometimes it takes about 3 seconds. I can tell that the engine is cranking, but it almost sounds like it's having difficulties.

Should I be worried? ... I am right now ... I never shut off my engine when it's cold, never high rev it when it's not ready, and everytime after I shut off the engine, I always floor the gas pedal to release the remaining fuel (something I learn from this forum). Is there anything else I can do to take better care of my car?

This car I really want to keep for as long as I can, and it deserves my best care. That's why I ask, and sorry if I suck describing the matters ... I don't really know that much about cars, I guess most of you can tell ...

Take it to the dealer...they should check that you have the latest battery and upgrade you to a more powerful starter.

Thanks man, you guys have been so helpful, and thanks for putting up with my ignorance on the 8. I just know so little about the car, but still loving it.
