We can't decide for you. When you say 'good condition' has it had a compression test and such?

Read the thread linked above and decide if it is the right car for you.

I love my rx8, but I also know chances are it will end up with engine problems and need a new one. Some people get lots of engine trouble and some keep the original for a long time. Get a compression test on the car and see how healthy the engine is before you buy it.

If you're asking about the RX8 in general. You're going to get a very biased opinion on this forum. I love the car because it is a perfect balance handling, speed, usability (2 carseats in the back) and interior fit and finish. There are plenty of cars with 4 doors that are less money that are faster in a straight line and around the corners, but they feel like kid's cars to me, and the interiors don't feel as nice. It all depends on what you're looking for.

Test drive the car and see how it is. Get a compression test on the engine too, then if its all good, then its really up to you to decide. We cannot decide for you, you need to know about these things in particular, good luck.

By the way some shops call a compression test on a rotary a different name. i remember reading it here on the forum, just can't remember the exact name of it at the moment.
