Shock Sensor
 

My dad mentioned to me about a shock sensor for my 8 and i've been trying to find it online. i've read past threads, but can't quite figure out which ones... i wanna make sure that i know what i'm talking about when i ask the dealer about them. my car is there now and i get to pick it up tomorrow...my ignition coil was going out so they had to order parts.
so what types do everyone have?
where can i look them up online?
how much do they cost to buy?
how much to get installed at a dealer?

there is a mazda made one just for the rx8, only one that I know of that the dealer will sell. I installed mine myself, time consuming cause of the small work place but no hard to do.

yup, mazda shock sensor. although aftermarket alarms aren't bad either.

i talked to my dealer where i'm living and he treated me like a lil girl and referred me to this store and they want to charge me $300 for a basic alarm. so i called the dealer in my hometown and he can do the mazda one for about $60. i was so mad at the other dealer!
