...damn, that's nice!!

RotaryResurrection 03-10-2011 11:03 AM

I've got one that's cooler than that, it is an actual rotor. I got it back in about 2002 (and paid dearly for it...over $250 at the time). I wore it to a couple of rotary shows but no one seemed to give a shit, so I stopped. It's just sitting on my shelf now in the box. I replaced the battery in it one time but it's probably dead again by now.

The coolest thing about it is that on the back it lists all the rotary engine versions/models.

WOW...that sounds nicer-er LOL...got any picks of it??? I'm a total watch whore....love em!!!

you stopped wearing a watch that YOU liked because OTHER people didn't care to notice it?

That and the battery died and it can only be replaced at a jewelry shop, and I didnt want to scratch it or something, yes.

...And I can't even lie, (as someone who normally doesnt wear a watch) it felt like wearing a calculator watch from the 1980's too.

wish the rotor actually spins like how it should in the housing rather than just by itself.

ATL-GP 03-10-2011 12:29 PM

DAAAAAAAAMMMMN....THAT IS FREAKING NICE!!!! Yeah, I'd probably only wear it to work or out to dinner....maybe an RX-8 function...but that's about it. Nice!!!!!!

I could be convinced to sell it, but the money would have to be "right". :fingersx:

ATL-GP 03-10-2011 02:09 PM

Shit....just bought a RB Catback and RP supercat....so I gotta put some cash back in the "pig". I'm interested though!!! Can you send me a pm of an idea of what you might be looking for?

mscamp02 03-10-2011 03:20 PM

thats a little nuts for a watch

Kaiser bun 03-10-2011 03:56 PM

I always have been interested in buying a watch for some more formal occasions :/ maybe i will one of these days.

monchie 03-10-2011 06:41 PM

So far, current bid is $75 as i speak...

Cool watch to own if your a rotary owner.

Polak Graphics 03-10-2011 10:02 PM

They pop up every now and then. They probally sell better overseas. If you think those are rare and bidworthy look into used Spirit R Vin Tags!

I can see why a die hard or old skool rotary fan would want one.

DocBeech 03-11-2011 01:00 AM

1800 dollars for a watch blah... Thats a full set of gauges including one that will not only tell time, but tell 0-60 time, 1/4 time, so on and forth lol.
