Security?

I don't see any security systems or theft deterrents in any of the options. They've got to have something.

I'm pretty sure there will be a theft deterrant system. There's one on the Millenia which is a similar price.

My advice though, get an Unbreakable Auto Lock. Nobody can steal your car even if they wanted to.

One of the best investments you will make. Make SURE you get a brand named one (there's one from The Club makers also), because the metal is reinforced properly and near impossible to break.

You could give a thief a half hour and a hacksaw and they won't get your car. Unless of course they tow it, but then you really can't protect yourself from that :P

On a scale of 1-10, your risk of auto theft in Irvine is 3, which is the top of the "low" rating. So it does happen. Source: ehome.com

Since the auto lock doesn't attach to your steering wheel I don't think it matters :P

The Auto lock (take a look here), is a device that anchors itself to your brake pedal and locks it up. Since you can't drive without a brake (and mind you you can't even shift out of Park in an automatic car), it's useless to attempt.

The position in which the autolock is placed makes it impossible to cut because it's under the dash, and even putting it on takes a bit of maneuvering. The only thing that can cut is a bigass metal saw that won't fit under the dash much less angle properly to detach the lock.

Best security investment you can make.

Check out Canadian Tire, I picked one up a couple of weeks ago! Unfortunately I cannot remember exactly how much I paid but it was very inexpensive.
