Well it's great to have such experienced members around here. I've owned and raced RX7's and an RX8 continually since 1985, when I got my first one. My cars haven't achieved the mileage of yours. They have spent more time being weekend driven on one-way roads. People with knowledge and a willingness to help will be welcome. The only thing is, as you know, the RX8 is much different than the earlier rotaries. There is a whole new learning curve that you have to get used to. :smoker:

Ok thanks but then again my Father owned a 81 for 12 years, have all the fun you want with me.......I know rotaries... I didn't ask for the biggest dick contest.

Charles read before you reply

Tell me Charles, What in my post said I was an expert with the differences in the Rx8 and Rx7???? I said INFO not expert...just some little help if needed. So please read before your write. You can be the expert Charles. I know you boys that stay in every night get upset if someone walks on you territory. So you can keep giving out that expert advice. JUST READ before you reply Grand PUBA.

dannobre 04-22-2014 02:48 PM

Who cares ;)

If you have relevant information post....if you don't...don't :)

Starting out here with an attitude won't get you very far......we have low tolerance for know it alls and fools who post crap that is pulled out of there a$$

If you want to be a productive member around here just try and fit in :)

Williard 04-22-2014 03:05 PM

Im just going to read this thread because it makes me laugh. Dmazda, in all honesty you did come accross as a smug prick. Not stickin myself in the ring because im NOT an expert with the rx8. But MANY of these members are to include Charles and Al. If i were you i would take dannobre's advice. If you have knowledge that someone needs and it's not coming from your a$$ post it. If you dont' dont. BUT you might want to show at least a little respect to the members here who have earned it. I mean hell nothing about Al's post was ignorant in any way, you just got butt hurt. Thicken up that skin.

Didn't take me long to find out how credible you are ...............

This thread is interesting for a few reasons...

dmazda,

What they are saying is that if you want to stand on a soapbox, stand on a soapbox and say your piece. But standing on a soapbox and just shouting "I'm standing on a soapbox" is only going to result in your audience heckling you.
