Searching to no Avail: Changing Hi-Beams How?

So I searched and what I searched on google was RX8club DIY changing hi-beams but nothing really came up and the board has been empty as of late for some reason or dead I should say

But is it hard to change the Hi-Beams on the 2004 Headlight? Do I have to do anything like unbolt anything on the headlight assembly?

I read how to do the parking lights and we were able to do that but I never looked at Hi-Beams until I recently purchased some

I'm not surprised you didn't find anything. Only a handful of RX-8s (comparatively) have "bulbs to change", so it's a very tiny subset of people that would even be interested in posting about it.

Nearly all RX-8s got the HID headlights which last nearly forever and are quite expensive as a replacement if the ballast goes bad. Not a bulb replacement at all.

If you actually do have a non-HID RX-8 (pretty much the base automatic 2004s and 2005s only, and even many of those did) then it should be a simple connector, a spring retainer, slide the bulb out, new one in, reset the spring, and reconnect. All my other Mazdas have been identical to this.

94,000 miles on my 8 and my HIDs haven't even dimmed slightly.

You have a GT trim according to your sig, and thus have HIDs. If you have a headlight out, search instead for HID Ballast replacement. It's not gonna be cheap. :(

O No Man, not the actual HID but just the Hi Beams which is not HID. It's an H9 Bulb. My HID's are still working perfectly.

Ah, understood.

Well, it should be the same sequence mentioned for the bulbs in my post. Should be a connector on the back of the light, remove that, then remove a rubber boot cover, release the spring, remove the bulb. Replace in reverse order. I can check when I head out to my 8 in an hour or so after work.
