Save your tips

I got my 8 used and the exhaust tips were soot covered and tarnished from the rich factory tune. I thought they were toast and was looking for slide ons or a catback just for looks. Then I saw this at a local parts store and gave it a try. Tips look new now, only took 10 min a tip. Tear off some wadded cotton Luster Pad and rub vigorously until a black liquid covers metal then wipe with clean rag. Similar to Mothers mag and aluminum polish but works way better after trying that first.

There is some pitting from neglect but 100% better than when I got them. The bumpers dirty and car needs washing but the tips are clean now.
