oh okay. when i was getting rid of the 8 i searched and searched to find the best car i can get for the money and it was between evo x, 09 wrx, 09 sti, 370z, RX-8 R3, and a Genesis. i narrowed it down to the evo and wrx/sti only because they are awd and the winters have been really bad lately here in nj. then the prices of the evo x and sti were so much money i decided for the same amount of power i can get in the sti i may as well just get the wrx and i love the car but i miss the 8 lol

Good suggestions. Another tactic is to go for an interesting but much older car, say ~10 yrs, that is worth so little you can self-insure as far as collision coverage is concerned until you go long enough from this accident that you are no longer in the higher-risk category. As an extreme example, I bought a 10 y.o. Audi Quattro for $1500 and ended up liking it so much, I drove it for 12 years! That saved many thousands of $$ in insurance money that I didn't have to pay.

Stuck in a love triangle
Not sure if anybody mentioned this yet because I don't feel like reading 5 pages of this thread, but this crash has got to be on the top 3 list of most smashed up 8 you've ever seen before. This looks worse than the 8 that was ran over by a tank at a military base...
By the way, how scratched up is your shift ****? I'm trying to replace mine and I'll buy yours off you if it's in mint condition
