was told that these seats are for the concept car. But any guys know if any manufacture making it?

nope

They look nice but I bet their not the least bit comfortable

I really like the RX8 seats (the ones that came with the car). I had an SRT4 prior to this with the Viper seats and like the RX's seats MUCH more.

Those sets look great to me and I bet they are comfortable too. I think that the Grand Touring seats with the red inserts are awful...talk about ricer. I would love to get my hands on these seats for my '03. I hope somebody knows if they are available.

Boomer,

Beg to differ. I think the red inserts are awesome, and Ford must have as well, since the Shelby's have avery similiar interior.

Transam kid 01 02-14-2007 10:04 PM

That interior is pretty ugly :(

Boiler,

Point taken. It doesn't suit me, but that's what makes the world interesting. Personally, I'd like a solid, medium-brown leather. Arguably, that might not go with the overall style and theme of the car. I do like the "concept" seats, but I imagine that they were too expensive to include in the production models.

I bought the 8 for the seats. Sold a perfectly good Eclispe GT with 5000 miles on it.

Stavesacre21 02-15-2007 10:16 PM

wow, looks sporty but more than likely offers the support and comfort of a bleacher

I actually have a pair of these in my car.

With a little Google research, I determined that the seats that you initially posted in this thread are from the 2000 concept vehicle introduced at the NAIAS, Detroit in 2001. The RX Evolv concept that was originally introduced at the 1999 Tokyo show and also at Detroit in 2000 had a different interior and seats. Particularly, note the headrests...mesh inserts...no rotary accent.

So I doubt that the seats are available on the market.
