rx8 performance developer friendly introduction
Hi all
just need to introduce myself quick I am one of two partners of DK Performance South Africa I work basically exclusively on Rx8 engines other than my other two babies, a Nissan Skyline R33, and a very colectable low miliage 200+KW 520kg Mk2 Uno Turbo, take a geus wich one of the two is the quickest? :evil_laug anyway back to my actual finally getting to join the club. i finally for the first time in seven months of non stop 13b renisis high and low power engine building, that i have time to sit while i wait for parts, and actually join the club. ok as it obviously apears to be that i work on these lovely full of crap masterpieces. anyway, i am looking at ways to improve some parts on these cars and doing some of my own developments i will obviously soon be upgrading to a vendor account, what i would maybe need to know from people on here is what is in demand and not available atr an affordable price, obviously this will be a long term thing and i give no overnight miracle cures. the development part and what it costs us, is where the parts will show their worth.\ Hope to be chating soon. if i dont reply here send me a pm, that way i can get the e-mail notification to reply. i will be opening a thread or two some time. I KNOW THERE ARE MANY TUNERS ON HERE, I AM NOT HERE TO DISCREDIT OR SHAME, I AM HERE TO HELP TAKE PARTS TO THE NEXT LEVEL AND GIVE YOU A NEW PRODUCT FOR YOUR LINE-UP. |

Ok...

actually i do but your obviously not driving an apealing status,....TW!!!! i am not here to bring the long awaited miracle power increase, what i may bring is other goodies specially built engine packages with maybe some p-porting and very acurate b-rting built from scratch with al new parts, obviously not in everybodys price bracket, but with south african exchange rates being in your favour it may just be cheaper to have certain engines built in this country |
Welcome, and I hope to see many interesting products from your company in the future. =)

Thank you i am just as sad as so many of the Rx8 Owners the old rotarys would kill with a couple of mods the rx8 sideport ankle-chain is not really doing it for me i have say between 10 and 20 per day, from Rx8 owners wanting upgrade parts or needing advice there just isnt enough available!!!!! and the costs involved with rebuilding are just stupid. |
not going to edit again
i meant to say i have many phone calls daily, in that last part |

A side seal spring that dose not fry itself :dunno: |
Considering this engine is so good as it is, there is little you can do outside boost.Even the big time rotary shops that have been working on these for decades pretty much say there is little you can do. Good luck, but unless you know more than thousands of engineers before you, I don't think you will come up with any breakthroughs.

i need a contact number please need a rx8 engine as soon as possible im from namibia ..

What you can do in NA is the things that matter...... why do the coils fry so soon? why cant we get a manifold and engine mount bracket combination? and a few other goodies. 1 very real reason, ok actualy 2 is that the engines heat up and other components fail due to the heat fatigue, coils are a top contender in thic catagory and so are your battery small things like airflow around the motor do make a difference..... Insulating a few items from heat soak Air box Battery INSULATED ( even the RED TOPS ) Intake pipes Adding Some DEI Radiator Relief does actually help!!!!!!!! Adding a whole host of other DEI Thermal Protection products to the rest of the engine bay including the manifolds will also drop under hood temperatures to well within a power gaining environment COOLER AIR EQUALS MOR POWER ok so its not much of a difference but that Victory a similarly NA RX8 is well worth the bragging rights go to the DEI wesite and see the range of products they have available!!!! i dont want to sell this to you, rather find your closest dealer as they are from the states...... http://www.designengineering.com/ If you ad 2 stroke to the engine and your oil metering pump is still active, it is actually not a nice end result the engines tend to carbon up, and the less informed rotary owners that dont do teh usual shut down and redline prioritys of the RX8's usually end up rebuilding motors more often than the ones that had proper measures taken rather get a "Sohn Adaptor" and pump in some 2 stroke instead of engine oil this will help make thing last just that litle bit longer.... and the main idea is function it works and it helps you save money in the long run |

Insulating a few items from heat soak will help bring the temperatures down Air box insulated for cooler air on the inside that gets baked to 50+ degrees celsius, obviously robs you of some power, why do people put those stupid typhoon systems on? Rather do the insulated air box and a decent K&N Flat filter Battery INSULATED ( even the RED TOPS ) You would be amazed what this can do for voltage and amperes supply when the car is hot Intake pipes insulated Adding Some DEI Radiator Relief does actually help!!!!!!!! Very easy way to cool engine bay, move battery to the back and change the intake to something like the AEM one. Then install a vented hood. When you do this, the air pushes through the radiator into the engine bay then out the hood vents. Pretty much all the race/drift RX-8's have setups like that.

Thanks for telling us something that we already know like 5-6 years ago.

i read by your post count that either you are one of the bully wankers or you may just know what you are talking about ON SECOND THOUGHT YOU ARE JUST ANOTHER GAS-MOUTH IDIOT. |
Premix actually softens carbon build up as 2 stroke oils are designed to prevent it.
A sohn adapter alone won't solve the center lubrication issues... |
before any more idiots come try to sound all wise ass clever and stuff again.....
I AM THE AGENT FOR THE FOLOWING COMPANIES IN SOUTH AFRICA ATKINS ROTARY PULSE PERFORMANCE AND A FEW OTHER BRANDS SPECIFICALLY FOR ROTARIES ON THIS FORUM THERE ARE MAYBE 10-20 GUYS THAT ACTUALLY KNOW THE INSIDE OF A renisis ENGINE THE REST LIKE THE IDIOTS ABOVE THAT TRY TO SOUND CLEVA AND SHIIT, ARE THE GUYS THAT THINK THEY ARE COOL COZ THEY DONT KNOW WHAT A ROTARY ACTUALLY FUNCTIONS LIKE i did open this thread saying friendly introduction!!!!!!! i did say i am not bringing the miracle cure? its not that hard to see by the posts above that quite a few RX8 owners are very dislexic :wallbash: now if you have built more rotar engines than me and built more race cars than me, i will shut up and listen to your advice if you dont have any good things to say get ready for some keyboard ninja, ass whiping |

A sohn adapter alone won't solve the center lubrication issues... but then again pre mixing the 2-stroke 1-2 with XYLENE or methanol has had some interesting results on our dyno and after a 40 000 km run the engine internals were not to badly carboned up of-course i wouldnt do this withour having the motor rebuilt with proper Fluorocarbon O-Rings same as building a methanol engine While we are on the point, are there any 100% methanol RX8's on here i would love to have comunication with the builders and or drivers on their NA power output experiences |

Considering the obvious fact that you failed at even spelling dyslexia correctly, i would bet it is safe to assume that you obviously don't know what dyslexia really means and that you obviously like to throw out words which you are obviously unfamiliar with, in an attempt to obviously try to come across as a hard ass when someone questions your integrity... obviously... (yes, you obviously use the word, "obviously" a lot... over which i am obviously mocking you... obviously.) If you come to a car enthusiasts forum with hopes of garnering even a modicum of acceptance and eventually profit, it would be in your best interest to ignore any and all criticism instead of retaliate with insults. Otherwise, you will lose credibility in your product, your company and yourself. Enthusiast forums are rife with thieves hoping to make a quick buck off the ignorant and the unknowing. Even if you start out by saying, "I'm not here to sell snake oil. Everything i have to offer is of the utmost quality!" Enthusiast communities are very protective of their members and their investments. We may beat up on each other in various posts but ultimately, we don't want to see each other get cheated. You'd be wise to remember that when you decide to either post a scathing reply or be the better man and ignore the heckler. If it helps, everything i just said, with regard to how you should react to someone's ill-worded post, can be summed up in my tag-line below. |

so, you're qualified in proclaiming that quite a few RX8 owners suffer verily from a learning disability that impairs a person's fluency or comprehension accuracy in being able to read and which can manifest itself as a difficulty with phonological awareness, phonological decoding, orthographic coding, auditory short-term memory, or rapid naming. Also, dyslexia is separate and distinct from reading difficulties resulting from other causes, such as a non-neurological deficiency with vision or hearing, or from poor or inadequate reading instruction.
