RX8 and baby strollers. (Need trunk pics)
I will note that I already searched, but only found one picture.
I am in the process of searching for an RX8 and I have seen tons of baby-seat pictures and I've already test-fitted my 17-month-old and his Recaro seat and I know they will fit fine. My concern now is will my stroller fit? I would like to see some pictures of your childs strollers and how they fit in the trunk. If you could provide the brand, that would be awesome too. Also, has anybody managed to wedge a double-stroller into the trunk?? I highly doubt this, but since the wifey wants to have another baby sooner than later, I might have to buy one. If not fitted in the trunk, did you fit it on the passenger side of the car? I will note that the RX8 isn't going to be my full-time DD, but I still want to be able to take my kid(s) around town if I need to. So lets see the pics! |
Regular umbrella stroller will fit, like Mclaren.
I've fit Quinny buzz 4 in the trunk before I install the trunk strut bars. As long as it's not the huge stroller, you'll be fine. |
I had a McLaren double stroller. I don't remember if it fit in the trunk. It definitely fits in the front passenger seat with the seat pushed back a bit.
I'm guessing virtually all single umbrella stroller will fit. If you get McLaren Volos. I think two of them will fit in the trunk. They are the lightest most compact model. It's too bad they don't sell binders to attach two single umbrella stroller together to form a double. |
Kids fit in the trunk just fine. Put stroller in back seat. :)

I no longer own a baby stroller... But, maybe as a reference, I can tell you that one set of golf clubs fits back there. Not sure if that helps you...
Your best option is to go test drive one, and bring your stroller. |

I still would like to see or hear about what other people are doing about their stroller solutions. As soon as I get this taken care of, I can then start worrying about more fun things, like tuning, and wheels, and performance! |
