RX-8 vs Kabura
3 Attachment(s)
Just looking at the looks and not performance, which do you like better?

I love the design of the rx8. But at the same time, you can see where the Kabura got some of it's styling features from *cough* *cough*...rx8... The Kabura is sort of like the offspring of the rx8. just my 2 cents
I went with rx-8 because the back of the Kabura looks too much like the nissan and porsche, sort of poser and getting old anyways (except the 911, its back should never change). Also, I am always riding with 3 friends and since there is only one seat in the back of the Kabura, it looks hard to get 4 people in it.

Very cool looking and exciting but concept cars rarely see the light of day. They are usually produced for the WOW factor at Car Shows. If RX sales don't stay solid it will never see the loght of day. Plus mods for the 8 keep getting better and better (3 rotor, turbo). Why start from scratch again!!

i appreciate the look of the kabura, but the styling of the rx-8 still appeals to me more. i'm sure with time, the kabura will grow on me.
I voted 8...but I really like the wheels and roof. I would think that the roof would be some kind of safety problem. Not to mention how expensive it probably would be to replace.
don't you guys remember the rx8 concept? things will change in the kabura before it comes out just like the rx8 changed.

The roof line of the Kabura flows better, the cycle fender merges with the rest of the bidy smoother and I dig the all glass acrylic roof. The side mirror is stiletto like, very "cutting" feel.
combine kabura front and rx8 back and u got a haut machine
Not even close, RX-8 all the way. The Kabura is way too busy.

it has 2 back seats. i full "size" and one jump seat= temporary use |
I like the looks of both of them quite a bit, but the RX-8 has some funky lines that don't quite flow, it's also not fresh like the Kabura. So Kabura for me.
im obviously enamored with the 8 but i like the fresh approach of the Kabura. From most angles the over all shape of the Kabura flows slightly better
The Kabura looks like what I would imagine the next generation RX-8 would look like. I bet that's what it will become. I like that view from the side rear. That's my favorite angle to view the 8 from, too. Stretch the Kabura out a bit for the suicide doors and it's a smoothed-out 8.
When I first saw the 8 it was the best looking car I have ever seen. I look at the Kabura and just go, "eh."
To each their own. |
love the design of the kabura, but I still love my 8.... Love the attention you get esp from the ladies, also I doubt the Kabura can Redline at 9,000 RPM !!!!! but all in all both are beautiful cars!
I've seen it for the last 3 months. Now that it's more detailed I like the 8 better.
Give me the Kabura without the front face and rear end and I'm in. Plus it's suppose to be a M3. OOOOh a M3 with 260 HP? Easy choice then. |
