RX-8 upgraded to daily driver
 

Just sold my oft beloved, sometimes vexing, 95 Saab 9000 CSE, so my four month old Mazda, which has averaged about 1,000 per month, now becomes my daily driver, with no reservations and complete confidence. Later this month I’m taking it to Tucson from Long Beach via Vegas, Grand Canyon, Sedona and Phoenix with the wife and two kids, so mayhaps there’s an upcoming trip report to be crafted. The big Saab averaged just under 30 MPG on road trips, Grrrrrrr, about 25% better than my 8.
