RX 8 6Speed AT And 4Speed AT
 

Hi all, intend to buy a RX 8 Auto...

Seeing 6AT and 4 AT but how to tell which is which??

Do we drive and see the gear digit till 5 so we know its a 6Speed AT??

Am i right to say 6AT / 4AT include the R Gear as well or R gear is the 7th and 5th Gear??

Please advice...

Yeah, if you know the year, you will know if it's a 4 port or 6 port.

ok So thr 'R' is the 7th gear of 6AT / 5th gear of 4AT....

So how do I tell the difference between 6AT & 4AT??

ok So am I correct to say that currently in market there are no 4AT RX 8 except for 2nd hand RX 8 which is yr 04 - 05???

06onwards are all 6AT....

meaning you had already been given the answers and that information is already out there if you had searched. you were getting off easy b/c we were actually giving you the information instead of just letting you know it was out there. but even with the answer, the same question kept popping up.

Haiz.... I am not you so how will I understand what u're refering to or writing... From the above answer it look like TOTO number to me instead of the yr and gear...

look, i'm not trying to give you a hard time but there was a question, two answers, the same question, an answer, a confirmation question of the original two questions, and finally another answer. all of this while the information was still out in the forums if you did some searching.

I honestly dont know anywhere that still sells them. They didn't do very well in the market and, IMO, they dont look very good either.

If I can't find the answer would I have posted here in the very first place to ask for advise here??

well, that's all behind us now so anyway...

you can also post in your regional forum. there may be a few who can point you in the right direction. they may not really browse the discussion forum since it tends to be more US geared and only check that page. from what i have seen singapore tends to gravitate toward bigger wings so if you don't find the exact one, i'm sure there is one similar.
