Rotary Powered Battery for your tech device needs.

http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2011/...with-gasoline/ I want this to have a portable rotary engine more than anything. |
I bet it will get horrible mileage and will blow the apex seals in no time
|
No worries. There is a 10year / 100,000 mile warranty. The real question would be what type of oil to use.
|
 Well we all know you cannot use synthetic or the engine will blow up.
|
Someone call Sohn so we can get proper lubrication.

That could complicate things with having to mount a reservoir, running lines, etc. |
It's black. It will put out more current than the ones that are VR, WB, WWP, LY, ...........

It is a known fact the VR puts out more ...................................... |
I think I just call BS on the whole thing:
The Hybrid Battery is small, ultra-simple rotary engine with just two moving parts. Rotary engines — like the famous Wankel — are highly efficient and do away with pumping pistons an instead use a spinning rotary piston. Though I know the context they have it in isn't what most people see it as :) I did read an article recently that noted that the higher content of energy in gasoline would mean that if an entire gas engine/fuel supply could be small enough to fit into the space that a current battery does today, that it would last longer at the same power output, or produce more power at the same duration, or a mix of the 2. Only a matter of time until someone tried. Simplicity of the rotary and it's agreed efficiency at fixed RPM fixed load running DOES make it ideal. New money maker for Mazda :suspect: |

Ladies love it.

A 15kw version may be enough to be a source for pressurised air to build a low lag turbo.
e.g. Forget the electrical output and mechanically connect it to the compressor side of a turbo. Much easier to package and faster response time than an existing turbo. Then run one per rotor for more power (am I getting too carried away now?) |
Lets not forget to micro-premix and redline it lol
|
Wait until MM starts tuning that sucker!
