Rotary Lotus?
 
Can anyone explain to me why Lotus hasn't tried putting a rotary into their cars? I'm sure I'm not the first with this idea, so why hasn't it worked?

Very interesting idea. I can see why Lotus wouldn't do it but someone should!

I think I've seen Caterham/Lotus 7 w/ rotary but never any modern Lotus.

Back in the late seventies we put a 13B in a lotus Europa.

Awesome, a true mid-engine placement of the rotary. I would love to drive that car with an even lighter weight, more powerful 16x. BTW, whatever happened to that car?
