Did you get a new flywheel? I don't really get your question.

Heres an easy explanation:

in the winter, during start up ur car is freezing cold, so it takes time to warm up ur oil and such... during summer the sun "pre heats " ur car and engines.. so it takes less time.. simple as that.

If you are not used to the rotary engine, it revs and drops much faster than a piston engine. I had to retrain myself to match the revs after coming out of an S2000. For a month I drove an STI and had trouble matching the revs in that after getting used to my 8 (not to mention I kept bouncing it off the rev limiter). To up-shift smoothly, I learned to do it very quickly or to not completely let off the gas. If you do that, you will shift smoothly.

I have been learning to rev match, and it is a heck of a lot more fun. I was wondering if it is better for the syncros?

Of course the Wankel ****.

It has nothing to do with the rotary engine. It all depends on the rotating inertia of your driveline components. If you change to a lighter flywheel your rpms will drop much faster, since it has less inertia. A little difference in mass anywhere may have a large effect on rpms. remember its always I^4

When on a date, it is much better than dragging the cluctch to make a smooth downshift. That way the girl isn't getting jerked around and she thinks you realy know how to drive.
