and i assume you already told everyone you were sleeping. bad idea. next time, dont do that. if you have a perfectly legitimate excuse, why are you going to out yourself?

night time, car is parked in road. you hit it. all you had to say was you didnt see it cause the lights werent on. you could have said that the rear taillights werent on, even if they were on. cause they are smashed beyond oblivion now, so no proof otherwise. that way, they have full fault.

you probably told the police you fell asleep. now you have at least partial fault.

kersh, yeah i know i should have said anything i thought about it after, i was in panic mode so i wasn't thinking clearly. The thing is i didn't leave any skid marks so they would figure that i didn't brake, but either way i shouldn't have said anything. I'm not sure if the insurance folks will let me take the rims cause the guy said the car has to be intact when it leaves. so I don't know whats going to happen with the parts yet...

 

oh yeah, you wont be able to take your rims. the insurance company takes your car and sells it on an auction.

cant lose your bearing like that! you have to keep your wits about you at all times!

hey, just to give you guys a heads up, the rims i special ordered 4 months ago are finally ready for pick up. When I do pick them up i'll take photos and i'll make a FS thread for them. Rotas: Royal Gold D2 brand freakin new.. did not even have a chance to put them on my 8. Be on the look out for the sale guys.
