First TSB has been updated with the SSV stuck open thing to the engine lack of power tsb.

Second is talking about the SSV stuck open, newer part with "stronger" actuator.

hmm, sweet. can I get mine to stuck open so they can replace the part with a stronger one? I mean sooner or later this crap gonna get stuck (I think) lol !

My 2007 has about 8,000 miles on it. How would I know if it has a lack of power? It hasn't changed since new, but it could always have been on the slow side. I'll need to drive anothe sometime to compare.

Is there a way to easly test the coils?

nycgps 08-04-2008 02:00 PM

nope, cuz the coils could be bad even the test comes out to be "normal/within spec"

Dont worry too much about the coils. replace it every 20-30K and u should be ok.
