You should consider searching more.

To answer your question- don't take it to the dealer. Their prices are outrageous (as anyone who has searched this forum would know).
Try looking up vendors of this forum, or look for members parting their cars out (I know, you will have to search, but you'll figure it out, hopefully, somehow)

If you want it cheap, try your local salvage yard, you might get lucky and find an rx8 with a headlight still intact, good luck.

Well think to yourself... if it is a minor accident, why would you want to go the dealership?

If it's truly just a headlight, you can easily find those from salvage yards, vendors, or even check out part outs on the forums. There's tons lately, you can probably pick one up for about $150.

If you can't think for yourself... I would say: Pay the dealer to replace your headlight and if you have further questions you can't seem to find an answer, since you're so lazy to search; it's best that you call your dealership and inquire with them. Besides, they have a lot of helpful suggestions to give you.

if nothing else is damaged replacing the headlight is painless.

don't see how something can only hit the headlight, but whatever.
