good question. how is the remote going to know what to do with a new battery?

Check the manual. Maybe we have to program it.

You might just have to program the remote. Check out the DIY section of this forum, it'll tell you how to do it. If you still can't get it to work, just take it to the dealer and tell them it stopped working. Mine stopped working last week, so I replaced the battery (and it still didn't work). It ended up being broke, so they replaced it for free (under warranty).

just so happens to be that I dont have a manual.....another question what is audio pilot and how does it work?

WhiteDealershipRice 11-19-2006 08:29 PM

^^ Audio pilot depends on which sound system you have.
In the standard audio it automaticaly raises the volume (a little bit) when the car speeds up and lowers it when the car slows down to compensate for wind/tire/engine noise.
On the Bose system it actually has a microphone in the dashboard that tells it how much ambient noise is in the car, and it raises or lowers the volume accordingly.

some people like it, some dont, the effect is very slight, and you can still control the overall loudness regardless. I happpen to like it.
Anyways... any luck with the remote?

The bose noise system is full of crap, I dont like it. It changes tone easily
